The following is a listing of Mennonite settlements. To determine what villages were associated with the settlement, just click on the highlighted settlement.
These settlements and villages were assembled using various entries in the Mennonite Encyclopaedia and an unpublished English-language copy of J. J. Hildebrand's Zeittafel. Despite a serious attempt at faithfully recording the information typographical errors may have crept in. In addition, the multiple entries in the Mennonite Encyclopaedia were not totally in agreement with each other or the maps contained therein.
This set of webpages, therefore, must be considered a collective work in progress - a draft. They are offered as preliminary, quick look-up table for those who find a reference to a village or Mennonite settlement that is unfamiliar to them, or who don't have ready access to longer, authoritative works (e.g. Mennonite Encyclopaedia).
Please send suggestions and/or corrections to who will review and update these pages from time to time.
